The court directed that they be remanded at the Kirikiri Prisons pending when they would be able to meet their bail condition. In reaction to the case, the Ikeja Electric’s Head of Corporate Communications, Mr. Felix Ofulue, said that the company had resolved to confront fraudulent and unethical practices in its network. “It is a crime to tamper with electrical assets and it is also a dangerous activity that could lead to loss of life and property when unqualified technicians meddle with the connections just for some paltry financial gain,” Ofulue said.
